Socialise & train your dog in a fun, friendly environment

About Us

Kelrose dog training society has been running for over 40 years and is kennel club registered. A committee who are all committed to helping promote and encourage responsible dog ownership runs it.

The aim is to help people train and get the best out of their dogs. Which improves the relationship between handler and dog and makes owning a dog a very enjoyable experience.

We have four classes for varying abilities, needs and ages. For more information on the training we offer please go to the training courses page.

In addition to weekly training courses, we also arrange regular dog walks for members to meet up. This is a great way to socialise and exercise your dog as well as giving people the opportunity to meet members from other classes.

The committee also holds various social events throughout the year such as treasure hunts; quiz nights, Christmas parties and the opportunity to have your dog’s portrait taken by a professional photographer. A monthly newsletter is produced for our members to keep everyone up to date with what’s going on

Each year as part of our A.G.M. we hold a presentation where trophies medals are presented for such things as handler of the year, best newcomer and dog of the year
